Bad Apple Brewhouse releases Mosaic Double IPA in support of Down Syndrome

(Somerset, NS) Bad Apple Brewhouse (BAB) has released their latest batch of Mosaic Double IPA. This beer is brewed to raise money and awareness of Down syndrome. Bewmaster Jeff Saunders' son has Mosaic Down syndrome which accounts for about 2 to 4% of all cases of Down syndrome and BAB donate all the proceeds from this beer to send kids to camp and fund other community projects.
     This 8% ABV beer is brewed using mostly Mosaic hops this beer won the Gold Medal in the 2014 Atlantic Canada Beer Awards in the Imperial IPA category and is in honour of all the families affected by Down Syndrome.
      This beer will be available at the brewery and will also have a limited bottle run over the two batches that will be produced this fall. It will hit some special taps in New Brunswick, and is graciously being supported by the following locations in Halifax and the Annapolis Valley - The Stubborn Goat, Lion & Bright and LaTorta Pizzeria.
